Mark Lawrence:
How far are you in The Red Sister book 2 which you began writing 4 months ago? And do you have names for the 3 books of the Red Sister trilogy?
Mark Lawrence
I've written 56,000 words of it, which is probably somewhere between 1/3rd and 1/2 of it. In that time I've also been editing Red Sister (book 1) in response to the publishers' comments, proof reading The Wheel of Osheim, writing four short stories to go into my Broken Empire anthology, Road Brothers, and blogging etc.
The working title for Book 2 is Grey Sister. I've no idea what book 3 will be called.

Mark Lawrence:
Hey Mark, I was wondering about the summaries of earlier events of the series that you write in your books. Is this something difficult to do, or tedious or for some other reason unpleasant? I'm trying to understand why so few other authors do that. It's such a simple, yet great thing. I cannot express how lost I sometimes feel when an author demands that I remember everything in detail after a year (or 3 or 5)...

Mark Lawrence:
Your protagonists seem to be manifestations of their own self-image, as if they create themselves in their own imaginations. Is this intentionally linked to the idea of a reality that responds to the will of the observer after turning the Wheel of Osheim? Some of the things they achieve seem to be products of just believing they can or have to. Is this the same kind of "magic" we see elsewhere?

I want to know more about the dynamics of Jorg and Miana's relationship and how it compares with Jorg's desire (that's what i see it as) for Katherine. Since I'm partial to their couple (J&M) I feel like I might misinterpret some things. I want to know who holds more importance in his life? I would love it if you gave a detailed answer (I need your validation before making presumptions about the characters) Thanks
