Hi! First of all I really loved the whole Tiger's Curse series and your new book Reawakened. Since I live in Bangladesh my whole life I have been learning different things about Tigers and honestly they are one of my favorite animals which makes me love the Tiger's curse series even more. I wanted to ask that there were many other animals you could have picked but why did you specifically pick the tiger?

Colleen Houck The tiger was not my first choice. I thought about birds but then I decided against it since there wasn't much a bird to do to the bad guy. Next, I wanted bear but bears are stinky and can't run for long periods of time. Then I chose lion, but the male lion sleeps 23 1/2 hours a day and I didn't want my hero cat napping all the time. Finally, I got to tigers and they are perfect.
