Goodreads asked Johnny Welsh:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Johnny Welsh I have several books on my bookshelf at home that make me want to write. Some author's styles and writing are so inspiring to me that it helps me to be creative. The styles of David Sedaris, Tucker Max, Robert James Waller, and Bill Phillips help me to want to improve my writing style. Then I have several "how to" books on writing and publishing by Dan Poynter, Patricia Fry, Mark Levine, and John Kremer. These authors offer the nuts and bolts of writing and cover many topics including getting prepared and organized.
