Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Lloyd Blake With the last book in the dark Atlanta series, I left the book open for a second novel, not knowing what that second novel would be about or what journey I would take my two main characters on. I sat back for a year until I figured out where I would take them and the idea came to me through watching TV listening to news stories just feeling where we as a society are right now. So the idea for the second book came from my observations of where we as people in society are now.
As I write science fiction thrillers all I have to do is incorporate this into a setting that lends itself to science fiction and make it exciting and interesting.
