Some of the situations, events and emotions in your books are quite controversial and almost taboo and I think the way you express them is what makes me enjoy reading your work so much. Do you research a lot around these topics or are you guided more by instinct in order to have an end result that is so convincing?

Hi Geehub,
I do a ton of research for the topics in my books. Some of the issues, I do have first hand experience in. Others I don't. Either way, whether I have a ton of experience or not, I research. I talk to professionals, I interview people who have gone through the situation, I read a lot of books and articles online.
In the end, I am writing a fictional book so it's not hard core fact, but I do like to do research to help guide me.

Okay, so I'm not someone who cries very often. I had never cried while reading a book before your Pushing the Limits series. I just finished the second book and it made my cry just like the first one. Like the sloppy king of crying. The books are amazing and I can't wait to get my hands on Crashing into You. Why must you make me cry?
