The characters in your "Pushing the Limits" series are all connected in some way. What inspired these connections? Was the inspiration a network of people you knew throughout your life or did it come to you in a vision/dream of some sort? (I ask because the connections sometimes begin delicately yet grow further to reach other characters aka Abby)

Hi Jen,
My friends and I joke all the time that there is hardly any degrees of separation where we live--that if you talk to a stranger long enough then you realize you know someone in common.
Years ago, my youngest had gotten hurt and we had to take him to the ER. The girl who admitted my son into the ER was a friend of a friend of mine. We had never talked before but she treated us as if we were family. Once we got a room, our nurse was close friends with my husband's older brother and she treated my son as if he was her own.
So, yes, I am inspired by the network of people in my life.

Hey, I've read your pushing the limits series and God, I'm a fan of your work. I love how you add depth to the characters and how the plot is developed throughout. I'm almost seventeen and well, I've been writing. I'm working on a romance novel and I don't think I'm doing very well. I know how criticism or no response can bring a person down since it's been affecting me a lot. Do I stop writing?
