Another question is; to me it seems there is a great potential for continuing the series. The ending is open and I would love to see more, I would love to wait another year just to see what happens next... Have you ever considered writing part four? Also Ancillary Mercy has been out for a month now, and I am looking forward to more interviews and gossip whether it will be turned into a TV show. Thank you for writing!

Right now there aren't any plans to write book four of the trilogy! I won't swear that will never happen, of course, no one knows for sure about the future, but it's not something I'm thinking about right now.
The TV option continues to be just that--an option. I don't have much other information on it. But it would be exciting if something happened!

I am reading Ancillary Justice a second time now, only 4 months after having first read it, something I have never done before since I started reading with Heinlein's Red Planet in the 1960s. AJ is Marvellous and even better on second reading. Thank you for sharing your gift with us, Ms Leckie. My question: When you first conceived AJ, did you envision a trilogy? When did you realise it would be?

Hi Ann Leckie! Why is "Awn Elming" in the Roman script on the memorial pins? Can I take this to mean that the official script of the Radch is the Roman, and that Radchaai uses the same alphabet as English? Are the Radchaai names we've seen written in the book actually written as they would appear on Radchaai documents? ...or did you decide it was best to print "Awn Elming" on the pins as it appears in the books?
