When you get stuck on a plot point do you take a break from writing ?

Chuck Wendig I do, but a very, very short one. I may stop writing for the day if the plot-tangle (which is a shape not unlike the slither-tracks of a drunken serpent) is particularly thick -- but generally I take an hour and go do some Delay-Time Task, especially something that gets the blood going. Walking. Mowing the lawn. Kick-punching robots.

Though, outlining in advance helps undercut some of the more notable plot-tangles these days.
