I loved the book Inkheart but I must ask, how did you get the ideas for the main characters and who is your favorite?

In Inkheart I don't have a favorite. It is an ensemble piece for me. Mo is inspired by Brendan Fraser, the Canadian actor, Meggie is a bit me and my daughter Anna and all book eating girls, Elinor is based on a well known collector of children's book and with Fenoglio I honor the writer Beppe Fenoglio. Dustfinger...well, Dustfinger showed up and was just himself. There are glimpses of my late husband and Aragorn in him I guess, but mostly he is just himself. That he is a fire eater I realized when I was watching fire eaters on a medieval market in Germany.

Sorry to bother (again), but I was wondering (again) how the work on the fourth Reckless book is going? (Sorry, but I'm just reeeeaaaally excited). Once again, I'm happy that you've been able to write this series, so I will wait as patiently as possible and as long as it's needed on the next installment :)

Hi Cornelia! I am a huge fan of your books and I am also an aspiring author. I was hoping you might have some advice for me about sticking to writing. How many words would you recommend trying to write in a day? I also have so many ideas, but I jump around and never finish. I have finally chosen one to see through first, but now I am having trouble finishing my plot and just writing in general. Any advice?
