Zotika Jessen asked Katie McGarry:

You were awarded the Nobel prize by publishing the most astounding, bewildering and breathtaking books that expresses so many emotions and intensity, would you look back on that as the best moment in your life? Also I was just wondering how do you come up with all your wonderful ideas and placing it into such books that you've created? Thank you :)

Katie McGarry Hi Zotika,

While I think it would be epically cool to win such an amazing award and even cooler that I wrote a book that was granted such an award, I can honestly say that wouldn't be the best moment of my life.

The best moments of my life would include:

1. The day I found daisies on my car and a note from my future husband that melted my very frozen heart and changed the course of my life forever.
2. The look on my husband's face when he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
3. The sound of my children crying for the first time as they were born.
4. Snuggling in bed with my children and reading them stories.

I could go on, but I think you get the idea. :-)

I get a lot of my ideas from situations or emotions I've experienced in my life.

Thank you for the questions,

Katie
