Welcome to being an author! It's an amazing and terrifying job. :-)
I always tell new authors to make sure you have your grounding. What I mean by that is to remind yourself what it is that is important in your life away from writing and being an author. It's easy to get swept up in your job and forget about the other parts of your life. Don't do that. Make sure you take time out for the other things in your life that are important to you.
As for finding readers, it helps to have advanced reviewer copies and to giveaway copies of your books. The more people who are reading and chatting about your books, the more readers you'll be able to find.
