Do you have a character outline you use? Or do the characters just form themselves as you write?

A little of both. I know the basics of my characters before I write--family life, general personality, greatest fears, greatest joys, what weakness they are going to make a strength by the end of the book. Sometimes those things change as I write and I always find out new things as I write and they develop even more.

First, I'll like to say that I ADORE your books. Pivot Point and Split Second are so sweet & romantic, and the characters are simply lovable. Also, I totally agree that The Distance Between Us does not need a sequel. I would HATE for our main couple to split up, and I feel that the stand-alone novel is already PERFECT as it is. You are such a brilliant writer! Now, what are some of your favorite books? :)
