Filip Gravcevski asked Kasie West:

I've noticed that most of your books don't contain any foul language, which I love. How exactly do you make your characters not resort to profanity and what would be your characters go to words when bad stuff happens to them, if you understand what I mean of course?

Kasie West Thanks! Yes, that is a choice I make on purpose, keeping my character's language PG. :) My go-to phrase that I use instead of profanity is: he/she cursed under his/her breath. Or just, he cursed. Or: she bit back a curse. Or something along those lines. If I do have the character say something, it's usually 'crap'. That's probably my most used expletive. I'm glad you appreciate the clean language. Thanks for reading!
