In your books, some of your bad guys are pretty twisted. How did you manage to write them so well? And did you ever sit and think that people would think you were messed up because you could think up something like that? Not saying that you're messed up or anything, I'm actually a big fan. I am asking because I am having a hard time finishing my book because of how twisted the bad guy is turning out to be. :-(

I don't worry what other people will think of me when they read my books. The characters are the characters, and not you, or me. Don't cripple yourself creatively by worrying that other people will think badly of you because you've written a kick ass villain. It's called fiction for a a reason. Sorry it's taken me so long to go through questions, but I hope you finished your book.

Considering the sidhe could once survive a decapitation, I'm wondering if you'll someday find a magical right-of-passage and fix whatever is wrong in Andias. I love Maeve's theory in the last book. I can't imagine Andias ever being a good and loving woman. She's a battle goddess, after all. But, she did love her brother. Maybe after some therapy, she may deserve a surprise pregnancy. Maybe a flu that's not a flu?

You seemingly base so much of your writing off the events in your real life, that I wonder if Sholto's death coincided with a real tragedy in your life? (After all, you made him a god of Love & Marriage - then immediately killed him?!?!)
I wonder if that is the reason you haven't written about Merry since, considering you have since done 3 Anita books? I hope not, b/c I love Merry (and you!)

After Affliction, Anita stated that she wasn't engaged to her men since her 2 of her other men, her girl and JC's girl had a problem with not having rings as well. There was no mention of this being resolved in Shutdown, does that mean because of these 4 somewhat insignificant people (as in not people Anita/JC love) they can't fulfill their happiness and get married?.. That seems like to much drama.
