An inspiring read that sheds light on a closed community where victims are completely powerless to speak out. Were Brian and your Mamma ever investigated or charged for abuses against you, Samantha, your Aunt Fanny or your Grandma? What are they doing now and did they react to the book?

Misty Griffin I don't believe they know about the book. I have not had any contact with them since I left Seattle. I did what I could and then I felt I just had to move on so I could heal. I couldn't let it control my life.
No they were never charged with anything but I was able to block them from getting foster kids. One small victory.
I just hope people who are in law enforcement come across my book so they can get a better view of what happens when inside some of these situation.
