I was curious if you have ever reconnected with your real father?

No, I haven't. My brother found me through my book and we are now reconnected. He says he thinks our father has been in prison for like 20 years now, or he was last he heard about him. It sounds like my father was not as nice as I remember. After all my mother was only 15 when she had my brother and he was her step-father.

Reading your replies below, i hope you do not give your so called mother the satisfaction of ever seeing you again. They are not your responsibility. They have forever given up the right to be grandparents or to grow old with their children's love.

Not really a question, but I want you to know that I worked at CPS for 18 years and yours is one of the worst cases of child abuse I have ever come across. You are a strong, brave woman who has beaten all the odds, and I am in awe of you. May God continue to bless you and yours.
