Hi Misty, just started reading your book and am already angry and upset. Do your parents still live in Washington? Reading your replies below, i hope you do not give your so called mother the satisfaction of ever seeing you again. They are not your responsibility. They have forever given up the right to be grandparents or to grow old with their children's love.

Hi Lillian :)
Yes, my parents still live on the same farm on the mountain. I don't know why, but as I get older I wish to speak to my mom and try to get some reason for why she did what she did. She is only 52, at 34, I am now the age she was when I was 16 and 17.
I don't believe I will ever have a relationship with her but I might go up to the mountain this summer with my sister ( not sure they will let me on the property though, but they will let my sister since she is still Amish)
It has been 11 years since I last saw them. I want them to see the person I have become.
Yes, I do get criticism for saying that if they were ever in dire need of help that I would help them. That is who I am, I have always reached out to help people when they needed it. Might be a fault, but that is me :)
Fanny died a year ago, so sad. My sister said my mom would not say how she died and she was afraid to ask :(
Blessings sent you way <3
