Yes, Brian is still alive. My sister saw him 4 years ago and said he is as healthy and mean as he ever was. Brian and my mom still live on the mountain all alone. Rather sad, but there is a reason they are all alone now :(

Have you ever tried to find your biological father? I know in the book you said you felt safe when you were with him even though the memories are distant
