Hello! Quite simply, Mr. McCall Smith, how on earth do you keep track in your head when writing of all your main characters in all of your many series?

Alexander McCall Smith I tend to write one book in a series at a time - so during that period I am thinking mostly about that book. That helps to prevent confusion in my mind! AMcS
