Needless to say I am a big fan of all your books.I have a very specific question about the book the careful use of compliments : could you tell me how Isabel finds out where the painter McInnes lives as I can't seem to find a place in the book where the current whereabouts of the painter or revealed to her ? Do you ever practice medicine or law now or lecture on them or is your time devoted mostly to writing? I was wondering because I'm amazed at how many books you publish have and are publishing and travel ( I saw you talk in Houston once) and answer questions on goodreads etc...How do you manage to accomplish so much?

What I find surprising is that, although you are a professor in Medical Law and an expert in Bioethics, you do not have a doctor as main character in your novels. Forgive my ignorance if I am wrong, but it seems only natural that you wrote about people and environments you are so familiar with. Would you contemplate this option for future novels?
