Intisar Khanani I am an evil, evil author. Actually, I'm just really human, but it amounts to about the same thing. ;) I don't have a cover yet; I do have a decent full draft of the book. Unfortunately, revision is what takes me the longest, and I haven't managed to get through a full revision yet. Right now, I'm working on "Memories of Ash" (Sunbolt #2), and then plan to buckle down and hammer "The Theft of Sunlight" into shape. The trouble I ran into at first was that I couldn't make headway in my revisions because I didn't believe I'd found the heart of the story yet--I wasn't getting it right. I think I've finally worked out what I need to do and what's missing, so there's a good chance that this revision will get the book where it needs to go.

The very good news is both my children will be in preschool / kindergarden in almost exactly one month, and then I will get daylight writing hours. Those are gold. (Mostly because my brain is still functioning at a higher level.) So hopefully I will make excellent time in my work on both novels, and will have something for you (for this book) by the beginning of the new year... one can hope for cover and a date! And maybe even a teaser. ;) Thanks so much, and I do apologize for the wait!
