Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

L.A. Kent Rogue Flamingo is our first book; it was Louise's idea and developed out of a short story about an obnoxious man traveling through a busy airport with family and friends to a holiday in Cornwall (where we live). We notched up many air-miles in our corporate careers so the airport parts are realistic, being based on personal knowledge and experience of similar situations.

Louise also wanted to write about a Cornwall based detective as there hasn't been a popular series like this for many years, and Andy had always fancied developing a psychopathic character using some of his experiences in the world of psychotherapy - so the Treloar series was born.
