LA Kent is the pen name of Andy Sinden and Louise Harrington. They live in Cornwall and love it; especially the ruggedness and beauty of this part of England. Their novels reflect the terrain and the often slow-paced lifestyle; the working lives of the local population and the carefree abandonment of the holidaymakers from all over the UK and Europe who rush to the county at holiday time. And the twisted minds of the characters they create and the often disturbing crimes they write about.

I enjoyed Gathering Prey. Not quite as fast moving as some Sandfords, but very enjoyable with a lot going on. Intriguing how there is so much out of state action which in which Davenport stays involved until the rather surprising end!

I enjoyed Gathering Prey. Not quite as fast moving as some Sandfords, but very enjoyable with a lot going on. Intriguing how there is so much out of state action which in which Davenport stays involved until the rather surprising end!
