Goodreads asked T.M. Cromer:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

T.M. Cromer This is probably a tough one for every author. I've read where some writers just trudge through, continuing to write even if it is crap. They then go back and edit later. I've read others go exercise to get their thoughts moving again. Honestly? I go scrounge for food, read, or find other humans to interact with. It usually does the trick. By then, I am impatient to get back to what I was working on.

I also create deadlines for myself. I work best under pressure. Don't ask me why. That kid in school who waited until an hour before class to write their paper? Yeah, that kid was me. I'd get an A every time. The information was available because I'd already done my research, but the writing, that needed pressure to make it really good.
