I said I think that Bella was an extraordinary achievement for Winston aged 92. I got the feeling he'd fallen in love with his heroine--as he'd done all those years ago with Demelza. I'd love to do the scene in Bella where Ross attends the performance of Hamlet at the Old Vic--where his daughter is playing Ophelia.

Robin, One of the wonderful things about the original Poldark series was all the attention to little details. I'm fascinated with Cornish food. In one episode Demelza was serving a Stargazy pie. I don't think it fits into your cookbooks now, but did you ever eat any of the food in the series. the pasties looked wonderful. How was that pie?
