Don't remember there being a todo back then.
No social media of course and the celebrity culture was only getting going.
But it is as you say 40 years ago and my memory is selective now perhaps.

Hi Robin, I was brought up in the 70's watching your Poldark and rewatched when repeated in the 80's. I'm so pleased that you are part of the current Poldark and am loving the way you are playing the exasperated Rev. Halse. The BBC are obviously throwing a lot of money at the current production and I was wondering how 'big budget' the original series was considered at the time?
