What’s the best thing about being a writer?

R. Morgan Crihfield For me, my first book was a memoir about my time as a soldier at war so it felt good to have a positive reception from my fellow troops. I feel my work is unique as too many books about war are ego or agenda driven rather than giving an honest view from the ground. To have the proceeds benefit veteran organizations like the War Writer Campaign it feels great to give back and help groups like this forward the cause of veterans in America.
