Sergeant R. Morgan Crihfield is a decorated Soldier who served in Operation Iraqi Freedom with the Texas Army National Guard. He is an alumnus of Midwestern State University with both a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Bacholor of Social Work as well as a Master of Science Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington. He currently works as a Therapist specializing in Post Traumatic Stress and Veteran's Affairs in North Texas where he lives with his wife, children, and two lazy Labradors. ...more

I feel my wor…moreFor me, my first book was a memoir about my time as a soldier at war so it felt good to have a positive reception from my fellow troops. I feel my work is unique as too many books about war are ego or agenda driven rather than giving an honest view from the ground. To have the proceeds benefit veteran organizations like the War Writer Campaign it feels great to give back and help groups like this forward the cause of veterans in America. (less)
