I am curious from a literary perspective or from the author's seat why you chose to end " A Punishment Exam for Jane " at the point at which you ended it instead of continuing the story further?

(view spoiler)[Well, I think I can answer two ways, and they're both equally true.
First, to be entirely honest about my mercenary intentions: I wanted the reader to want to read more about the Institute. I had a serious dilemma as to whether to write out the end of the examination scene, and include the kind of "action" that you'll find in, for example, _Bought and Trained_. I decided against it because I want people to read, for example, _Bought and Trained_. :)
Second, I felt that I had completed the arc of Jane's realization that she wanted to be a concubine, and the moment she sees the toy (which I actually wanted *not* to have to describe more fully because sometimes the unseen is more arousing, just as it's certainly more scary) seemed to me to represent the turning point for her and the true denouement of that short story.
Thanks so much for the question! (hide spoiler)]

WTF ! I am not a fan of serial blogs or books in general. I buy books on many venues. I bought Explorations: 1st notebook on Blushing four days ago, figuring to buy the 2nd at a future date. Now, I just received an email for the Omnibus which DID NOT show on your author page the day I bought 1st notebook! Where is the end?
I am disappointed I bought this book.
