Goodreads asked Kristin Durfee:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Kristin Durfee Keep writing! Even if it isn't any good. Writing can also be humbling and overwhelming at times. I think self-doubt goes with the territory. You read a book that is so good and forget that the author had to probably edit and re-write it a bunch of times before it made it to press. I try to calm my fears and remind myself that no book is perfect the first draft!
Plus, you can't edit a blank page, so it's best just to get something out, then sift through it later to see if there is anything good, chances are there is.
