Hi Candace,
Thanks for the message! I have a new book coming out on February 25, called The Amber Owl. It's the first instalment of a two book series, a historical fantasy for adult readers. This is an Australian edition from New Dawn publishing, a small independent publishing house. Link here (you may need to copy to your browser):

At present there are no overseas editions but the publisher is working on that. New Dawn does shop books internationally with quite reasonable shipping costs.
Have you tracked down Beautiful, my reworking of the fairy tale East of the Sun and West of the Moon, which is available only in audiobook? If not, you might enjoy that one. Check it out on Audible.
all the best, Juliet

Juliet Marillier:
In the research and construction of your books, why kind of role does historical or technical research play, and how flexibly do you incorporate or interpret it for the purpose of the story? Your books have such detail and sense of place to feel believable and present, and still the fantasy aspects fit so seamlessly in with reality.

Hi Juliet. I'm a big fan of your work, particularly the Sevenwaters series as I love the lore and history of ancient Ireland and Scotland. I'd like to know if the folk music of these countries, or music in general has influenced your writing, and if so, who are your favourite musicians?

Hi! I'm a very big Sorcha and Liadan fan ( i absolutely love the names by the way) though i haven't been able to find a copy of Child of the Prophecy yet. i was wondering if you could give me a few tips with writing? I have several stories started ( one of which is a historical/paranormal) and i cannot seem to put enough detail into my words. Thank-you in advance :)
