Do you have any type of routine to your writing? Listening to music, bad tv on for background noise, etc

Rhiannon Frater Weirdly, it depends on the story. Sometimes I need quiet to write and every noise is a distraction. Other times I need music as fuel to get through tough parts. But even then the music will vary. With some stories I can't have any singing because it's jarring, so I'll listen to soundtracks. With a few books, singing isn't an issue at all.

I never have the television on while writing though. Hearing human voices is just way too distracting.

At what age did you first start writing? And, if you weren't writing, what other profession would you be doing? BTW.. I just wanted you top know, the first Zombie book I ever read was The First Days, I picked it up at Barnes and Noble, and I was totally hooked, I ordered the rest of the series before I was even half way through the first one.. I'm totally hooked, now.. Thank you!!
