Goodreads asked Ravyn Karasu:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Ravyn Karasu It depends. Sometimes, I find myself being verbally cranky due to the frustration. I'll pace around and grumble and complain. It really sounds like I hate my job, but it's just part of trying to create SOMETHING in my head to work with.

Sometimes, I just take a break and do something else. This could mean working on another project entirely. This may mean that I take the time to do some artwork. I may play a game or watch something on Netflix. Sometimes, I will work on my language lessons (I'm currently learning German and Danish). Sometimes I'll just focus on my college homework.

Then, sometimes, I just have something to eat, take a shower, and then take a nap or some combination therein. It just depends on the type of story, the schedule I have that week, and how I feel.
