Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Dave Birchbauer I really can't remember...

I know I wanted to write Airplane novels... cheesy space opera. Something quick that could be read while flying (I used to travel a lot... and would always check my luggage and carry only an Agatha Christie paperback with my tickets in them). Wonderful way to travel.

I wanted to write something someone could read from their tablet to keep them occupied in airports and on planes. Something fast and fun.

I just played with ideas until Jett came along (I always though Jett Speed would be a cool name for a rock band).
