Wacky Sp asked David Estes:

I'm not here to ask anything but I just want to say that I truly adore your work! Keep on writing sir! You are truly phenomenal! All of my stress are gone whenever I spend my time reading your books! More series to come soon! :) How do you get your inspirations in writing such novels?

David Estes Thank you so very much for your message and your kind words! I'm so pleased that you've enjoyed my books and that they've worked as a stress-reliever, that's something I use books for too.

I see that you've already finished the entire Dwellers/Country Saga and are working on the Slip Trilogy. Thanks for your support!

To answer your question, I glean inspiration from many places, which is why I always have my iPhone handy to jot down notes for the current project I'm working on, or some future project I have planned. For me, inspiration comes from people, places, experiences, dreams, and sometimes out of thin air. For example, the idea for Fire Country popped into my head randomly while I was writing The Star Dwellers. The main character in Fire Country, Siena, just started talking in my head, and she wouldn't shut up until I'd written down a bunch of notes. That's the way inspiration is sometimes--it comes when you least expect it!

Thanks for your question, and I will definitely keep writing for as long as my readers keep reading!
