Hi im doing a report on you at my school because I really loved the False Prince. Anyways I have to answer some of the following questions: 1. Where are you from? 2. How many books did you write? 3. How many award nominated for or books that have won awards? 4. Who is your audience? 5. What inspires you to write?

Hi Abbi. Thanks for choosing me for your report. Let me answer your questions: 1. I was born and raised in Northern Utah. 2. Mark of the Thief is my 8th released book. 3. The answer for this can be found on this page: http://www.jennielsen.com/books/ascen... You can count whatever awards or honors you want. 4. My audience is whoever feels like reading my books. I primarily write for middle graders, but I have a lot of readers who are both older and younger than that. 5. To me, having a story idea and not writing it, is like having an itch and not scratching it. So I write because I want to reach the itch. Good luck on your report!

Hi Mrs. Nielsen! Did you intended to make Loelle a protagonist or antagonist? After all, she used Kestra as a tool to take the curse away from All Spirits Forest no more than Tenger had used her as a tool to find the Olden Blade, only to give it to Trina and kill Kestra. Then again, Loelle did apologize and tried to find a cure for Kestra's corruption and continued to heal everyone in need. I love your books, thanks!
