Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Narrelle M. Harris The Adventure of the Colonial Boy has come about because a new imprint is going to publish Holmes/Watson romances, and I thought it a wonderful opportunity to explore their relationship (and play with canon references) by setting an adventure during the period Holmes is meant to be dead after 'The Final Problem' in Australia. Watson is going to be mighty annoyed to find he's been grieving for a friend who isn't actually dead. Watson also has a canonical link to the goldfields of Ballarat. A red leech will also be involved. It's going to be fun!
