But there is no history in Moning's book, and the language and characters are laughable; this is a straight-out bodice ripper...think 50 shades in the 1500s. Stick to Gabaldon for Scottish romance/historical fiction. Well worth the wait(less)

Holly Agreed that there is quite a lot of violence, especially if someone is comparing it to romance novels, but Outlander is historical fiction, not a Scot ...more
