I notice you made Adam Senft's dog in Dark Hollow timid and afraid of his own shadow. Also, you had Smokey mention in City of the Dead that he, too, had a dog that was timid and afraid of it's own shadow. You also mentioned in Dark Hollow that writers draw upon real life. So, did you have a dog that was timid and afraid of it's own shadow? A childhood pet, perhaps? Weird question, I know.
