Sex scene is ??+ Exposure to sexual content is so varied by family it's tough to "age" but I'd go with the 13-16+ due to the scene with sexual intercourse. It is handled discretely (condom mentioned but no other real details), but seems unnecessary. It doesn't ever come back up, doesn't change their relationship, it seems irrelevant. Lots of YA hugging, kissing, emotions, "hooking up," but the sexual intercourse was a surprise to me (DD read it first). In any case, it's there so you decide.(less)
