(view spoiler)[I'm confused on the Macy/Ciara twist in the last Cainsville novel. So Ciara was from a family with Fae blood (but they didn't live in Cainsville) and to give her the best chance in life she was switched with a wealthy family (also not from Cainsville) for Macy. Where did Ciara's family originally come into play? The Elders watch the families that are even outside of Cainsville? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Yes, they keep track of the families with strong fae blood--if it's only one distant relative, they aren't interested, but many of these families have multiple doses, which makes them valuable. While it's easier to make use of those who stay and grow up in Cainsville, those who don't are actually more useful, like Gabriel or Olivia. It's resource management--keeping tabs on those with the strongest blood, interfering to give them better chances and then making use of them as needed. In Ciara's case, it would be "strong fae blood, promising family but completely screwing up themselves and their kids so lets take one child out and see how she does in a better environment." Which doesn't seem as if it worked that well, but it's a gamble they're willing to take, in hopes it pays off, as it did with Olivia. (hide spoiler)]

Hi Kelley! I've been a reader of yours since 2008 and LOVE the Otherworld series and characters. I'm now reading the Cainsville series and loving it even more! My question to you is two-fold. Did you happen to have the film Sabrina in mind when writing the love triangle? I see so much of Linus in Gabriel and David in Ricky. Second, did you have any actors or celebreties in mind when creating the men and Olivia?
