The books have a certain quality to them, a magical feel peppered with elements of futuristic, Star Wars - esque themes. And, or course, there is a fair dosage of romance to add a kick to the series. The culmination is stunning, and the companion books are must-reads for Lunartics. (I read the first companion novel, Fairest, in one night!)(less)
