Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Mercy McCulloch Hasselblad I got the idea for The Artist and the Clay when I was trying to figure out what to do with my life. It was a long struggle and a lot of prayer and, ultimately, God gave me the verses about the Potter and the clay, and about the Body of Christ. In essence, He said, "I make people for all sorts of different purposes, that's why they're not all the same." That really comforted me and helped me decide that I wasn't faulty and I could use my talents for God. I was so happy I wanted to pass the story along to my brothers and sisters. I thought, "How would I communicate this?" and came up with this story.
