Hello, I have two questions if you don't mind. The first is kind of personal so you don't have to answer. In response to another question you said you wrote another book before that you never sold. What was that book about? My second question is, is Harriet based off of you? Because her description sounds like you, and as far as I can tell you have the same style of speaking if that makes any sense?

Jessica Khoury Hi! Thanks for your question! The book I wrote before Origin was a high fantasy manuscript that I still love very much, and hope to publish eventually. Harriet is not based off me--she's much bolder than I am! But I suppose she shares a good bit of my dry humor. =)
