Where did you get the idea for Wesley's character? He's properly my favourite literary boyfriend of a protagonist ever :)

Wesley was born out of the tendency at the time toward "bad boy" love interests, and I thought, no, I'm going to write a boy with all the outward trappings, and make him the genuinely nicest, most caring person I can. That's what I want (and that's what Mackenzie Bishop needed).
