How to you stick to writing and not give up?

Victoria Schwab One day--and one sentence--at a time. There are plenty of days when I don't feel cut out for it* but the fact is, I may get frustrated with pieces of the process, but I LOVE writing. It keeps me sane. I actually start to fidget and squirm when I have to go more than a couple of days without it. If you're asking how I stick with a specific book, it's by reminding myself that I ALWAYS hit those spots when I want to quit. And then I ignore that voice and keep going.

*I have the luxury at this point, 8 books in, to know that I technically CAN do this, and I have a community of friends, agents, editors, and readers to reinforce that, but the doubt never goes away.
