At the near end of the book, when Michael asks Cassie if she would choose him over Dean if he had met her after her near murder in the forest, she doesn't say anything so he reads her emotions and says, I thought so.
What does that mean???
Would she choose him or not?

I thought he realised that she would still have picked Dean, that it was always going to be him...
