Where did your inspiration for Origin come from? When did you begin to feel like it was something that would be great?

Jessica Khoury One day in the summer of 2011, I'd just given up on a fantasy novel I'd written and failed to sell, and decided to go for a walk and reconsider whether I should ever try writing another book again. As I was walking, a picture suddenly came into my head of a girl trapped by glass walls and surrounded by jungle. The rest of the story came together in about five minutes. I ran home and wrote the first chapter of what would become Origin, and finished the book 30 days later. Truly a bolt-of-lightning inspiration!

Where did you get the idea to write ' The Mystwick School of Musicraft'? I am currently reading this book and I think this is one of the best books I have ever read.I want to become a musician one day and this book is so inspiring for me.I always wanted to read a book which had a music school.In this book I didn't only get that but also so much more.And are you yourself a musician too?Is this book getting a sequel?

Hi Jessica! Kestrel again, I'm on chapter Three in Skyborn. I like the book a lot. However, I'm wondering why gargoyle is spelled gargol in you book. Did you want it to be unique? Or, is it a different creature then I'm thinking?
