How do you get inspired to write?

Christina Simpson I get inspired to write through everything, to be honest. Sometimes it's sitting in a coffee shop watching the people around me and documenting characteristics- wondering what their life is like. Sometimes it's reading other books, watching movies, listening to music. All of those things are important in the creative process. That being said, what I find the most inspiring, are the everyday stories of the people around me. My family, kids, friends, peers, and more. Everyone has a story.
