Did you start out thinking of writing romance, or did you have another genre in mind? Are you open to writing another genre?

Sorry it took me a few days to respond. I first tried to write a mystery, actually (this was 20 years ago). I couldn't make a murderer realistic. Then I decided to try a genre that I had loved in high school -- romance -- and instantly realized that I'd found my fictional home. I have written a memoir as well (Paris in Love). I sometimes kick around an idea for a bigger novel that wouldn't be a romance, so I might do that someday. ~ Eloisa

Eloisa, I just want to say that your books are just amazing. My favorite is "When the beauty tamed the beast"(because my favorite fairy tail is "The beauty and the beast") where clearly i can see the great Hugh Lourie. :D That was AMAZING! I have a little question about this: Is someone of the producers of "Hause M.D." or Mr. Lourie know about this and how they reacted to this novel? It's really interesting to me.

Hi Eloisa, I've recently discovered your books and I am entranced!! I'm in the middle of the Wilde series, and I simply adore all the boys!! I love the world you have created, and most importantly, I love that you have a fondness for the Bard. I'm a die-hard fan myself!! Anyhow, here's my question: are you planning on giving us more Wilde books? I want to hear of Atie, Sparky, Leo and Alex!!
